A Look Back At Our Market Season
As the snow sprinkles our sidewalks and tops our cars, we say goodbye to our first market season. Since June, we have loved hosting a community-driven and locally-produced market every Sunday. But, as they say, good things must comes to an end!
We want to take a look back at some of our favorite market moments throughout the past five months.
Chilly weather at the start of the season didn't stop our vendors from bringing all the enthusiasm and more for their products and customers.
Our produce was in high demand in June and often sold out in. Tomatoes were quite the *smash*, and our customers learned to love the simple pleasure of biting right into a fresh one. Netzel Farms provided us with the most fresh greens from kale, to arugula, to zucchini and more!
In July, we added multiple new vendors and could not be happier about it!
Three Seeds Bakery was an absolute hit, with repeat customers coming back every weekend to try new creations. Pastries ranged from scones, to sweet loaves, to cookies and savory tarts.
Little Hollow Flowers added some color to all our lives with stunning and unique flowers and arrangements we could not stop talking about!
We hosted a market giveaway this August with a bounty of local market products from each of our vendors. Let's just say the winner was a bit excited on all of his winnings. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Everyone's mornings got a bit more clear and caffeinated when Slow & Steady Coffee added espresso drinks to the line up. Talk about a killer latte!
We fell in love with Sheena Marshall's jewelry that we had to keep her as a permanent vendor and we think our customers were pretty happy about that.
Our Instagram hit 500 followers in September and we can't thank our loyal customers enough!
We were so lucky to hang out with Rowdy Poppy and loved the beautiful flowers and friendly faces that added to our market.
Consonance Botanicals was a fan favorite and our customers raved over their beeswax and coconut oil candles!
While we sadly had to cancel our last market due to weather conditions, we are still reminiscing on our pumpkin patch. Hot cider and pumpkins galore! What more could you ask for on a fall Sunday?
Thanks to all who came out to our market and helped make the first year a success. We are even more excited for next year!
